Katie Lavallee
Veterinary Assistant
Katie began riding horses at eight years old and was immediately hooked. After she got her first pony, Truffles, she joined pony club and then discovered eventing. Katie rode competitively through high school and college eventing with her thoroughbred, Indy. After graduation, Katie was unsure what was next and found herself working as a veterinary assistant at an equine clinic and determined that she wanted to go to vet school. Katie is excited to be working at Hartland Equine to expand her knowledge of preventative and emergency equine medicine while working on her vet school applications. In her free time, Katie enjoys training her young thoroughbred, QT, hiking with her dog, Ryder, and tending to her garden.

Official Mascot of Hartland Equine
Ray is our official mascot! He also gives the absolute best hugs if you're having a bad day!
On cooler days, he can be found in the back seat of the tahoe waiting patiently for you to come say hi to him, scratch his ears, and tell him that he is the best boy ever!
He happily accepts any and all treats or toys that are offered to him. Leaves a trail of floating golden glitter anywhere that he goes
